Iceland &#8211; 18.3% (prevalence of use as percentage of population)<\/p>\n<p>2. US &#8211; 16.2%<\/p>\n<p>3. Nigeria &#8211; 14.3%<\/p>\n<p>4. Canada &#8211; 12.7%<\/p>\n<p>5. Chile &#8211; 11.83%<\/p>\n<p>6. France &#8211; 11.1%<\/p>\n<p>7. New Zealand &#8211; 11%<\/p>\n<p>8. Bermuda &#8211; 10.9%<\/p>\n<p>9. Australia &#8211; 10.2%<\/p>\n<p>10. Zambia &#8211; 9.5%<\/p>\n<p>11. Uruguay &#8211; 9.3%<\/p>\n<p>12. Spain &#8211; 9.2%<\/p>\n<p>13. Italy &#8211; 9.2%<\/p>\n<p>14. Madagascar &#8211; 9.1%<\/p>\n<p>15. Czech Republic &#8211; 8.9%<\/p>\n<p>16. Israel &#8211; 8.88%<\/p>\n<p>17. St Lucia &#8211; 8.87%<\/p>\n<p>18. Belize &#8211; 8.45%<\/p>\n<p>19. Barbados &#8211; 8.3%<\/p>\n<p>20. Netherlands &#8211; 8%<\/p>\n<p>21. Greenland &#8211; 7.6%<\/p>\n<p>22. Jamaica &#8211; 7.21%<\/p>\n<p>23. Denmark &#8211; 6.9%<\/p>\n<p>24. Switzerland &#8211; 6.7%<\/p>\n<p>25. Egypt &#8211; 6.24%<\/p>\n<p>26.UK &#8211; 6.2%<\/p>\n<p>27. Ireland &#8211; 6%<\/p>\n<p>28. Estonia &#8211; 6%<\/p>\n<p>29. Bahamas &#8211; 5.54%<\/p>\n<p>30. Sierra Leone &#8211; 5.42%<\/p>\n<p>The UNODC&#8217;s data suggests that cannabis is used by 18.3 per cent of Iceland&#8217;s population (aged 15-64). The US (16.2 per cent) and Nigeria (14.3 per cent) had the second and third highest rates of consumption; the UK came 26th on the list, followed by Ireland. And the Netherlands?
