Adult mentors were paired with students, providing them with positive, nurturing role models. In addition, youth participated in classroom-based activities to develop life skills, and performed community services in area nursing homes. Parents were encouraged to become involved and meet their children\u2019s mentors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"color: #000099;\"><span>Across Ages improved school attendance and strengthened children\u2019s bonding to significant adults and to the community.
