The research was conducted in Barcelona and followed 120 cannabis and ecstasy users for three years. The results suggested that regular poly-drug users obtained half the marks of the non-user control group, writes Ruth Evans.<br \/>\nScientists are divided over the effects of ecstasy, but there is general agreement that regular use can negatively affect long-term memory.
